A highly-acclaimed must-visit attraction, Gardens by the Bay is a sprawling botanic retreat that depicts the gardens of the future. Featuring next-gen super tree groves and high-tech space domes, it is one of the most popular attractions for tourists in Singapore. Every night, the Supertree Grove comes alive with a spectacular light and music show called Garden Rhapsody.
The gardens are divided into three waterfront gardens for easy exploration – Bay South, Bay Central and Bay East. Bay South Garden is home to the iconic Supertrees, which are man-made structures that tower up to 50 meters high and are covered in lush plants. They are a startling combination of technology and intense greenery, with each tree displaying vertical gardens and an ethereal lighting show at night. To enjoy a bird’s eye view of the gardens, you can also hop on a lift to the OCBC Skyway, which is suspended between two of the Supertrees.
Besides the Supertrees, the gardens also house a series of impressive sculptures. Some of them include Planet, a seven-ton bronze sculpture of a baby; the Pamela Hat, a 16-foot-tall sculpture with a wide-brimmed hat; and the Floral Clock.
