The new condo development by Streamliner Properties and Minett Capital Inc. is situated on 500 Duplex Ave in Toronto (Yonge/Eglinton). These condominiums will offer a mix of one, two and three bedroom units.
Residents at 500 Duplex will be able to enjoy high-quality indoor and outdoor amenities. These include a gym, pool and tennis court.
Additionally, a brand new public park will be included at the site. This will allow the whole neighbourhood to enjoy this green space.
However, many residents at 500 Duplex have concerns about the proposed development. These concerns range from the visual blight that would be caused by the two buildings, to the lack of compliance with city guidelines and to the impact on park space in the area.
The developers have submitted their proposal to the Ontario Land Tribunal. The proposal would add two 15 and 11 storey buildings to the southwest corner of Duplex Avenue and Roselawn Avenue in the Midtown neighbourhood.
These two buildings would contain 621 residential units. This includes studio, Jr. 1 bedroom, one and two bedroom units. Interested buyers are encouraged to register for more information on the prices and floor plans of these condos.
