Designed by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron with local studio Quadrangle, 1200 Bay Street is an 87-storey mixed-use project rising to a height of 326.5 metres in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood. The building would feature 332 condominium units ranging from one-bedroom suites to multi-storey penthouses.
The development’s first 16 floors will comprise office and retail space, while a level with private amenities will separate them from the residential units above. This will be followed by 64 floors of residential space, with the last three floors dedicated to a sky lounge, restaurant and rentable event space.
While the developer has yet to finalize their amenities, residents can expect contemporary and generous floor plans for the condos. Moreover, the buildings will be equipped with state-of-the-art features such as floor-to-ceiling windows and shutters.
The project is being developed by renowned developers Kroonenberg Groep and ProWinko, which have numerous prestigious developments under their belts. The two are renowned for their ability to deliver landmarks across major cities.
